Description

This group is for kids and teens who really like astronomy. We have alot of active members, come in and see! There are many bad groups out there and inappropriate material will not be tollerated. Face it, there are very few good groups for youth who are really into astronomy without spam, junks, and other bad material, every two seconds, but this is that group! So please join in and have fun. Ask questions and share experience, I'm a teenager too! This is a group for all people and discussions on astronomy. But this is a youth group so please only join if you are about 21 or younger, of course you may be older if you already joined when you were younger. Talk about telescopes, celestial objects, accessories, amateur telescope making (ATM) and much more! Please join, I will talk just as much as you do! Check out the new members message in the files section. The group picture is one of my favorite astronomical images. It is of the nearly edge on galaxy M104, The Sombrero Galaxy.

Re: How should astronomy be brought to the greater public?
Hi and welcome to the group! Well if you can find a group of people interested, the school may be more than willing to start a club if you can find a teacher
