Description

This list is focused on genetic modification and engineering; including the so-called "terminator" technology, that would protect crop genetic patents by preventing seeds from resprouting, cloning, germ-line engineering and reproductive technologies impacting on human viability and the future of the biosphere.

Monsanto corporation has said that they will NOT deploy terminator technology. The holder of the patent, Delta and Pine Land company has received approval from teh USDA to develop this technology. It poses risks to the germ line of the food and medicinal species upon which humanity depends.
