Welcome to the NAMA Mushroom Cultivation Group.
NAMA, The North American Mycological Association, is a non-profit organization of professional and amateur mycologists that includes over 65 mycological societies in the United States and Canada. NAMA is committed and dedicated to the promotion of scientific and educational activities related to fungi. NAMA supports the protection of natural areas and their biological integrity. NAMA advocates the sustainable use of mushrooms as a resource and endorse the responsible mushroom collecting that does not harm the fungi or their habitats
This site is for use by NAMA members and members of affiliated mycological societies. The purpose is to serve as a forum for mushroom cultivators or those who have an interest in mushroom cultivation. It is also intended as a vehicle for posting articles, for asking questions, and sharing helpful hints, new techniques or any other information that would be useful for mushroom cultivators.
We hope you will join this group. Let us know what mushrooms you are cultivating, your level of cultivation experience, and what information you would like to see on this site.
