I bought one and unfortunately my wife’s laptop died
yesterday. I dropped in the recovery disc from the HP server and it restored
her computer with no problems. I would recommend this to everyone!

looking for, but I thought I'd throw it out there because I am very happy with
it. It is the HP
Home Server. I actually bought this by accident (thinking to use it
as a server for wintotal), but once I set it up in my office it works
great. This one server backs up all the computers in my office network (5
total) automatically every night. If a hard drive goes down, I can go out
and buy a new hard disk and restore the entire contents of the old computer in
about 4 hours. It keeps multiple back-ups for every computer so if I
wanted I could go back a week and restore a file I accidentally deleted
then. Adding hard drives is ridicuosly easy.
Just somethng for you or anyone with a large office they want to back up to
consider. Years ago I lost my hard drive and it cost me $3,000 to have a
data recovery place restore my drive.
