AceMoney is simple and flexible personal finance software. AceMoney makes it easy to manage multiple accounts of different types, create and manage budgets, juggle finances in multiple currencies, track spending habits, record expenses, transfer among accounts and even do on-line banking. Free version of AceMoney Lite and 30 days trial version of AceMoney can be downloaded from http://www.mechcad.net/products/acemoney.

Re: remove accounts from reports
Yes, a checkbox to exclude an account from reports would work. Maybe simply permit to exclude any account (not just closed). I do not do transfers myself.
