Description
Crystal Ball (TM) is a stochastic simulation add-in for Microsoft Excel. This is a forum in which CB users of all experience levels share best practices with other users. We are a non-commercial community. All are welcome.
Posts from new members are moderated. This means that your post will wait to be reviewed for content by a moderator prior to being approved for posting. There are three volunteer moderators: Pat Leach and Bill Haskett. We strive to keep the board current at all times. We review posts as soon as we are able. If your post seems to have disappeared into the void, please be patient. Do not repost it; it won't help.
This is not a Oracle created or moderated group, though several key employees are active members. It was originally created by users for users. That being said, we are pleased to have several Oracle employees that are participating members of this Group. Decisioneering Inc., the original creators of CB are now part the Oracle.
This group enforces a zero tolerance policy on SPAM. Any outright commercial advertising will be immediately removed and the offending member will be banned. There is no appeal to our decision as there is no appeal to SPAM. Many of our members elect to receive messages directly via email, therefore board members are reminded to stay on topic and refrain from "grey area" posts such as risk or simulation oriented employment searches, religious, or political statements. Posts of this nature will be deleted or editied at the discretion of the moderators. Simple "thank-you" posts are also not required or should be delivered directly to the author if possible.
