Description

The CCD camera has revolutionized the art of astrophotography. This discussion group is for those who would like to learn how to take astrophotos. The group is moderated by the author of the book The New CCD Astronomy - Ron Wodaski.

The focus of this group is on providing detailed feedback for beginners and intermediate CCD imagers. You will find the information you need on how to focus, expose, and process images. There are hundreds of tips here on CCD imaging, as well as product reviews and answers to common questions. You can also post your images and get critiqued, or submit your suggestions so that others can learn from your experiences.

And if you just enjoy looking at the images of celestial objects, please feel free join us!

This group is designed more like a classroom and most other Yahoo groups. We have multiple teachers and many students. We ask that posts be polite, on topic, and that members take responsibility for their posts. That means that the group comes first - post facts, not opinions, so that others can learn.

Ron Wodaski and co-moderators:

  • Mark de Regt
  • Randy Nulman
  • Mike Dodd
