This group is for users of the Global Mapper software package. This is the place to discuss the software and to pose any questions to the group for help from the user community. Official announcements about Global Mapper will also be posted here. Global Mapper support will also frequent this group, so you can be certain that someone here will know the answer to your question.

Membership is now controlled to try to stop SPAM, but once a member, there is no moderation - we will NOT review each message. Also note that file attachments are NOT allowed. Any file attachments to posts will be automatically removed. Please use the Files section of the group for providing files to the other group members.

Mike, Sometimes it could be a big help to quickly open a loaded map in windows explorer. E.g. to delete the map. Therefore I would suggest to add a right click
