Description

This list is for the discussion of linux, digital forensic processes and procedures, the use of linux in forensics and the forensic examination of linux and all other digital platforms. List audience includes digital forensic investigators, trade suppliers, system administrators, digital forensic enthusiasts, linux enthusiasts, legal minds and litigators. All are welcome.

Its not a platform for opensource promotion, nor is it a commercial marketing platform, although opensource issues and commercial products will probably be discussed, and its all welcome particularly if its to do with linux and/or digital forensics.

Up to the minute archives for this list since 15 Aug 2003 can be found here. A more complete archive of older messages is being recompiled and will be available shortly.

You don't have to be a yahoo community member to subscibe, simply send an email to linux_forensics-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

New members cannot post to the list unmoderated, this ensures that Spamming is not possible on the list. New members should be patient if their email does not appear on the list immediately. If you're joining to send spam, then you're wasting your time, it'll never reach the list.
