Hi,<br> I am a new student to Panoramic
photography. I am interested in getting paper prints of some
of the panoramic shots I have taken. Which a good
website to get this prints from? Any
suggestions...<br><br> Thanks.<br>-Kumar.
Just go to the founders home page link at this club. From there go to
ephotofinishing. I've used them for every pano print I've made. They're fast,
cheap, and the quality is excellent.
I want to make some panorama screen-savers and
distribute them to friends or relatives. The problem is that
not one of them knows something from ore knows how to
configure a computer. I’m looking for a piece of software
that’s make a complete .exe file (including installation
.scr file). Please help.
<a href=http://www.change7.com/pano2exe/
target=new>http://www.change7.com/pano2exe/</a><br>This can
convert images to a exe file. Itried many but understood
that without programming knowledge you cannot do
it.<br>Send me 2 images of yours I will do it for you as
screensaver.<br>ranjan2001@...
Hi,<br>If you have time please check out my
latest pano. Its under "Landscapes" Album. It was taken
in 7 shots and stitched with Photo-Impact.
Additional equipment used included Manfroto Tripod with
standard head, Fuji 4900z Camera and UV-Haze
Filter.<br><br>Would appreciate any
comments...:-)<br><br>Cheers<br>Richard<br><br>PS If the founder thinks its too
big (480pix tall)
please remove.
Try Panorama Factory V1.6<br>It is free from
www.panoramafactory.com/download.html#freeware<br>and takes tiff and jpeg files
with ease.<br><br>If
you like it you can upgrade to V2.3, but I am still
very happy with V1.6. It is very easy to use and the
results are superb.
I am new to the world of panoramic. Can someone provide me information on were I
can send my film for processing and
develop?<br><br>Thanks<br>Vince<br>pan2light@...
Hi Vince, It depends on what kind of film you're
shooting. 35mm can be processed at any 1 hour place, just
tell them not to cut it. A few hour labs can do medium
format, but not many. I don't shoot any bigger, so
someone else will have to help if you do. Cheers, Will
I never use a tripod with my digital camera and the software from the
PanoramaFactory.com does a very good job. You can see over 30 pictures on my
site at <a href=http://panoramic.go.to/ target=new>http://panoramic.go.to/</a>
Try ABC Photo and Imaging Services Inc in Manasas
Virginia. They can make machine prints from panoramic negatives.
As an example you can get 5x15 inch machine prints
from 35mm film shot with Noblex or Horizon 202 cameras
for somewhere around $3.50 per print. Check them out
& give them a call. Their web site is

panoramic
photography.
I downloaded pano2exe... excellent ! Just what I was looking for making a stand
alone program for packaging my 360° panos. thanks for the
tip<br><br>Bob<br>www.3dpanoramix.com
The big (first) roller inside the camera
sometimes stoped and caused scratches on the back of the
film. <br><br>I placed two stripes of plastic tape
(used in electricity) around the roller on the edges
that make contact with the holes. This forces the
roller to roll an keeps the film away from touching the
roller.

Finally, it only took me a year, I have posted
some of the photos taken with the Horizon 202 camera.
They are in the "SwingLens - Noblex, Horizon, Widelux"
album. Take a look - let me know what you think.
Everything considered I think the Horizon 202 is a great
camera and you can't beat the price. I have experienced
none of the light leaks or banding that I have seen
reported. I still need to polish the film guides.
Here in the UK there seems to be a lack of
interest in building your own cameras. I have built a 360
degree 35mm unit and a 120 degree roll film camera and I
sometimes wonder if I am the last UK builder remaining.
There was a spurt of interest when the 360 degree job
was published in the AP, but now all is quiet.
I would be interested in construction details of your cameras. Can you share? Is
there a website devoted to DIY camera builders? I am an addicted tinkerer and
this really caught my attention!
Yes I have a website at
www.diyphotographics.ik.com. The picture on the opening page was taken by the
120 degree panoramic shown in the news section.<br>If
interested pse conatct me after the 21st , since we are
going on holiday tonight and our son will keep an eye
on the e-mails but is not into camera design.
Went to the site. Checked out the folder with your name. There are some really
beautiful images there but I did not see any in PANORAMIC format! What's up with
that?
