Job Title : UI ENGINEER ( Interactive User Interface)
Location: Redwood City CA
Position : Permanent

Primary Responsibilities

Implement interface designs provided by the design team
Help the design team understand implementation constraints while coming up with
innovative implementation solutions to complex UI requirements
Designing UI frameworks to support the user interface designs
Working with other Engineers to make effective use of the API's and underlying
proprietary object database, requesting API changes if necessary
Work within the bounds of minimum system specifications and installation
deployment constraints to meet performance and scale requirements
Troubleshoot issues located in the UI layers from QA and Support
Estimate tasks in UI projects for new implementation, optimizations and
refactoring projects

Job Qualifications
5+ Years experience designing and developing interactive user interfaces
4+ Years of Java/JSP development (Java Servlets, Struts, XHTML, XML, XSLT)
Developed UI’s for commercially available application(s)
Excellent object oriented and multi-threading programming skills required
Must be detail oriented

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE or Math.
