Position Overview: This position provides technical experience and expertise to
our client DISA Field Security Operations in performing Security Readiness
Reviews (SRRs) for information technologies such as operating systems (Windows,
Unix), network components (routers, firewalls, switches), database components
(MS-SQL, Oracle), web servers (ISS, Tomcat, Apache), and application components
(.NET, JAVA). The candidate will be part of an approximately 80 person team
responsible for analyzing and documenting security vulnerabilities related to
components that comprise the network infrastructure for DoD locations. These
locations range from user locations attached to the network to server farms
providing services DOD wide, and can be anywhere in the world. Members of this
team are based out of EDS' Herndon office and Letterkenny Army Depot
Chambersburg, PA. The candidate must have minimally a Interim DoD Top Secret
clearance with a single scope background investigation. Various opportunities
are available on the team depending on subject matter expertise of the
candidate. Essential Functions:
* Ability to evaluate security controls in multiple disciplines
* Ability to communicate in written or verbal form with the customer in support
of technical and/or administrative/policy security guidance and direction.
