Hi everyone,<br>Just joined today,I played around
a bit with Bryce2 a few years ago, but never really
got very far, but enjoyed it enough to do a Bryce3d
upgrade. About the same time,as the upgrade I discovered
fractals and became hooked and sadly Bryce was tucked away
and never looked at again, Until now! a friend
reminded me of it's existince :0) and a few days ago I
began dabbling and already thinking of upgrading to 5
will post my two new 3dBryces soon, really looking for
constructive critisms to improve my images and hopefully to
help go a stage further. My early dabblings where all
oceans and land masses need inspiration to try something

Okay have created a new folder with two images
the first one Bush/rocks. hey titles ain't my forte
lol was the first after my break and tried to break
out of two of my customs trees and water so theres
only a wee bit water and trees well I used to avoid
using as they took so long to render so I threw in to
large shrubby thing's. and the second went all
atmospheric. did try to lighten this in Bryce but when I tried
to add a light to the scene it just looked like a
spotlight! so just tweaked the brightness in Paint shop pro
anyone have any lighting in Bryce tips?.<br><br>Stotty..
Hi Peter just had a look at your images loved Aftermath very dramatic, and I do
like the nice dreamy serene feeling with the castle image.<br>Looking forward to

Hi all added a new image to my folder called
Prehistoric view, probably my last Bryce 3d image, I took the
plunge and ordered up the update so Bryce5 will be
winging its way to me soon I hope. Gawd I hope so can't

Hi All. Well, another newby here. Hey, Stotty, I
finally made it!!! <br><br>I have Bryce 4 and have been
with it about 2 months. I have the book, which is
becoming well used as I struggle! I have been doing
fractals with Ultrafractal for about a year, but Bryce is
new.<br><br>I love being able to do the landscapes and the
challenge. Although, sometimes I wish it was a bit less
challenging! I have so much to learn. <br><br>I will try to
post one of my fledgling images here very
soon.<br><br>I am excited to join a group of other beginners on
Bryce. Congrats Stotty, on getting BRyce 5. I think it
is supposed to be much easier to use, let me

Hi, I bought some more RAM for my computer. Since
the new "style" of RAM is out now, my SD-RAM was
really cheap. I put in as much as I could fit.I now have
256MB I started with 64. It's helped a lot.What a
difference. Bryce kinda works loike Photoshop. It uses RAM as
it's "working space" when you don't have a lot it goes
to the hard drive. This is what makes it slow.<br>
Also if you are just messing around and practicing go
to FILE then DOCUMENT SETUP and then chose a lower
resolution. This will speed it up a lot. I do it for
experimenting when I don't care about detail.
yeah i find the best way is to render to disk, it saves alot of time and u dont
get that annoyin thing were if u press any button by accident it stops :) gud
luck.
