Variable star observers like to share their observations, in order to compare their observations with others and to be alerted to interesting variable star activity. Normally VSNET facilitates this sharing of observations. However, from November 11, 2004 until June 9, 2005 VSNET was down. In this period many observers submitted their observation reports to the vsobs-share group instead. We ask observers to submit their observation reports to VSNET again. If they like, they can continue to share their observations through this group as well. This way there is always a back-up of the reported observations if and when VSNET goes down again. We would like to thank the observers who have reported their observations to the vsobs-share group and are continueing to do so.
