I was reading recently that they have found something called a Dwarf Star in a system somewhat near by orbiting another regular star? ... can anyone please...

A brown dwarf is a "failed star". It never got hot enough to fuse hydrogen and helium. Multiple star systems are quite common. One sun circles the other....
